INSTICO
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
INSTICO is a parent-led digital platform designed to help children connect, learn, create, play and communicate in a safer online environment. We take privacy, parental oversight and child safety seriously.
This Privacy Policy explains what information INSTICO may collect, how that information may be used, how parents may exercise control over a child account, and the choices available to users.
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy applies to parents, guardians, children, and other users who access INSTICO through our website, mobile application, services, features, communication tools, games, learning areas, social features or related services.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how INSTICO is used, we may collect information such as:
- Parent or guardian name, email address and account details.
- Child profile information such as display name, age or age range, avatar, approved interests and profile preferences.
- Account authentication information used to securely sign users in.
- Posts, comments, reactions, replies, media uploads and other content voluntarily created inside INSTICO.
- Friendship requests, approved connections, family relationships and communication activity inside the platform.
- Safety, moderation and account-security information required to protect users and detect abuse.
- Technical information such as device type, browser information, session information, IP address, diagnostics and usage activity.
- Information generated through learning activities, games, achievements, parental settings and safety controls.
3. Parent and guardian control
INSTICO is designed around parent-led access and supervision. Parents or guardians may be able to create, approve, manage, review, restrict or delete child-related information and features, depending on the account settings and service configuration.
Child-to-child connections may require parental approval before a friendship becomes active. Parents may also be given the ability to review profile information and relevant visible activity before approving a connection.
4. How we use information
We may use information to:
- Create and maintain user and family accounts.
- Provide social, learning, gaming and communication features.
- Enable approved friendships and family connections.
- Provide parental dashboards, permissions and safety controls.
- Detect harmful content, abuse, suspicious activity and policy violations.
- Operate moderation, safety systems and artificial intelligence features.
- Improve product performance, usability, reliability and user experience.
- Respond to user requests, account issues and support enquiries.
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, safety and security requirements.
5. Child safety and moderation
INSTICO may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, moderation tools, human review, parental controls and account restrictions to help identify and manage potentially harmful or inappropriate behaviour.
These systems are intended to support safer interactions but no online service can guarantee that all harmful content or behaviour will always be detected immediately.
6. Photos, videos and user-created content
Users may be able to upload photos, videos, posts and other media. Access to this content may depend on account type, privacy settings, parental approval, friendship status, moderation rules and safety controls.
Users should not upload confidential, highly sensitive or unnecessary personal information.
7. Information shared with other users
Certain profile information and approved content may be visible to other users within an approved circle, family connection or permitted social relationship.
INSTICO is designed to limit access based on account type, permissions and safety settings rather than making child profiles openly available to the general public.
8. Service providers
INSTICO may use trusted third-party service providers for services such as hosting, authentication, databases, cloud infrastructure, security, analytics, notifications and artificial intelligence.
These providers may process limited information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services.
9. Google sign-in and other authentication providers
If you choose to sign in using Google or another supported authentication provider, INSTICO may receive basic account information made available by that provider, such as your name, email address and profile image, depending on the permissions you approve.
INSTICO does not receive your Google password.
10. Data retention
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, investigate abuse and enforce our policies.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is being stored.
11. Account deletion and parental requests
Parents or guardians may request correction or deletion of information associated with their account or child profile, subject to security checks, legal obligations and technical limitations.
Certain information may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, safety investigations, legal compliance or security purposes.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures intended to protect user information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.
No method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and therefore absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
13. International use
INSTICO may use service providers and infrastructure located in different countries. As a result, information may be processed in jurisdictions outside the country where a user lives.
14. Children and age requirements
INSTICO is intended to operate with strong parental involvement for child users. Account creation, permissions and access may be restricted based on age, parental approval, applicable law and platform policy.
Where legally required, parental or guardian consent may be necessary before certain information about a child is collected or processed.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as INSTICO develops, new features are introduced or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision.
16. Contact
For privacy, safety, account or parental enquiries relating to INSTICO, please contact us through the contact information published on the INSTICO website.
INSTICO is actively under development. Features, privacy controls and data practices may evolve as the platform moves from prototype to full production. This policy will be updated when material changes are introduced.
